Bulgaria's strengthening economy and falling interest rates is reflected in the contemporary rise in the prices of property.

Most recently archaeologists have discovered 80 medieval tombs at the site dating back to the 12 century AD. Bulgaria is a diverse country of Mountains, Beaches, Ancient History and wonderful food and cities. So do consider Bulgaria as a country for Land and Property Investment. Bulgaria has remarkable history and this month has marked 140 years since the infamous Battle of Shipka Pass. 5,000 Bulgarian Opalchensti and 2,500 Russian Empire troops successfully defended their position against 40,000 Ottoman soldiers. The battle was fierce and raged for 3 days in the hills above the village of Shipka in the Stara Planina area of the Balkan Mountains. The mountains range across the centre of Bulgaria from the Black Sea in the East to Sofia in the West.
he key battle was fought in July 1877 and is remembered today in towns and villages across Bulgaria as the genesis of the liberation of Bulgaria against 500 years of Ottoman rule. Today the charming little village of Shipka is well worth a visit, with its beautiful Russian Style memorial church and the nearby Valley of the Thracian Kings and the Rose valleys of Kazanlak. June to September is paramount for enjoying the wonderful beaches and clear warm waters of the Black Sea. Temperatures peak in July and August with averages around the 25c mark and highs of over 30c.
The Black Sea is non tidal, generally allowing for calm waters for swimming, however when the wind picks up it can be ideal for Windsurfing and Kite-surfing as well as body surfing the waves when the on-shore winds really pick up. There are numerous beaches and styles to enjoy. From the the party beaches of Sunny and Cocoa Beach to the more family friendly beaches of Burgas and Chernomorets. Cafe's and beach bars offer fine food and refreshments and there are plenty of hire shops for Wind, Kite and SUP boarding as well as jet skis and water sports galore...
